10 April 2020

AMTEX, Asian Machine Tool Exhibition, is re-scheduled to 4-7 November 2020

Dear Exhibitors, Partners, and Visitors,

Like all of you, we have carefully monitored the global health emergency related to coronavirus (COVID-19) which has now been globally declared a pandemic and a notified disaster in India that led to a country wide lockdown until 14th April. It is imperative that we prioritise the health and safety of everyone involved in AMTEX 2020; employees, customers and exhibitors.

AMTEX is now scheduled for 4-7 November 2020 at Pragati Maidan (ITPO) in New Delhi.

We consulted with all our stakeholders, especially key exhibitor and visitor groups, and national pavilions, and agreed to reschedule in alignment with the directives and advice from the Indian public health authorities and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi regarding public events as well as travel to and from impacted countries. We are grateful to our customers for all their support and constructive input during this challenging period.

The previous edition of AMTEX was a stunning success, growing 20% in size and 12% in attendance, with visitor satisfaction and loyalty reaching a phenomenal 87% and 91% respectively. We continue our relentless effort to further build and enhance a top quality exhibitor and visitor audience that is a trademark of our event, making it the leading machine tool show in India. While these are uncertain times, we are working hard to be ready and prepared for November.

We will continue to closely monitor the on-going situation and remain in close contact with all our AMTEX stakeholders over the coming weeks and our thoughts remain with all those impacted by the virus.
